PORTSMOUTH — The Town of Portsmouth has announced that the transfer station will be closed on Friday, Jan, 3, due to the winter storm. The station, on Hedley Street, will reopen at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4. In addition, Prudence Ferry has limited service Friday, with only the 3:30 p.m. boat still scheduled to run.
