PORTSMOUTH — Before they went trick-or-treating, wizards, princesses, cowboys, superheroes and even a banana paraded around Common Fence Point this evening. The parade featured members of the Portsmouth High School marching band and alumni leading kids and families members in an around-the-block march. It was part of a Halloween celebration at the Common Fence Point Improvement

Get spooked at Halloween parade in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH — Once again, some monsters, witches, superheroes and pirates will be parading through the streets of Common Fence Point to celebrate Halloween. A Halloween Celebration starts at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, at the Common Fence Point Improvement Association Hall, 933 Anthony Road. There will be crafts, music and fun for all ages inside
