Elsie H. Cotta, 95, of New Meadow Road, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, at the Orchard View Manor Nursing Home in East Providence. She was the wife of the late Manuel Cotta Sr.
Born in Rehoboth, a daughter of the late John and Louise (Silva) Noons, she had lived in Barringtonmost of her life.
She leaves five grandchildren, Donna Lynn Popolillo of Barrington, Linda Ann, Robert W. and James J. Cotta, all of Bristol, and Steven J. Cotta of Cumberland; and four great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Manuel Cotta Jr., and sister of the late Lena Leonardo, Minnie Almquist, Louisa Madeira and Amelia, Patrick, Alfred, William and Benjamin Noons.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 15, from the Rebello Funeral Home in East Providence, with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Jean Baptiste Church, Warren. Burial followed in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery.
