To the editor:

The purpose of local public access is to help the public with programming on the local access channel. A studio is provided and training is offered to anyone who wishes to produce a show or to help produce a show.

Seekonk Public Access Cable 9 wants to offer more programming to the residents of Seekonk. We need help from volunteers to use cameras, to direct programs, to edit them, and to produce shows to inform and the entertain Comcast subscribers.

If you can help a producer or if you have an idea for a new show, we need you. We would like to have shows in many areas — sports, youth activities, topics for the elderly, or just general interest. Please contact Cable 9 and we will offer any training that is needed. Call 508-336-6670 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
