Nancy E. Husband, 55, of Bristol died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, at Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston.
Born in Providence, a daughter of Barbara (Huestis) Husband of Bristol and the late James M. Husband, she was a graduate of Dean Junior College and also attended Rhode Island School of Design. She lived in Barrington for many years.
Ms. Husband was a chef at the S.S. Dion Restaurant in Bristol.
She had a great love for music, theater and the arts. She also loved the outdoors like camping, hiking and family vacations in New York.
Besides her mother, Ms. Husband leaves two brothers, David F. Husband of Hopkinton and Richard J. Husband of Bristol; a companion, Edwin "Jocko" Safford IV of Bristol; and two nieces, Kristi Byres of Arizona and Adrienne Husband of Charlestown.
Funeral and burial services were private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445, Attn: Contribution Services.
