You talk about Cianci being a felon? What about the crooks in Bristol? All these condos coming in, where's all the money going? Now you price our homes and land so skyrocketing and made it like we're going to save money. How are people on Social Security going to pay their taxes? Are you just wiping out the Bristolian people who live in this town? And you talk about Cianci? We have crooks running our town. Wake up Bristol people, wake up, before we don't live in Bristol anymore.
Here's a good one for the Fourth of July Committee. Why don't we round up a bunch of felons and make Cianci the division leader? They can have their own separate division.
I'm calling about the Roger Williams Speakout about how the school put the town on the map. You know what? You need to come back where you came from. Bristol was a nice town until Roger Williams showed up.
I was reading and apparently our taxes are paying for the town administrator who cannot make a decision on the police chief because there is so many mistakes. Can taxpayers get together and ask for an honest process? It is a crock what is going on. I have had it. My house increased in value $45,000 and I haven't done a thing to it since I moved in here. But other people decreased. Why don't we look and see all the mistakes that are being made and go from there. We need to look carefully at who we re-elect and who we don't. We need someone honest, respectful, and who will do the right thing. What about the search for the police chief?
This is about the surveys we got in the mail. I know the government's cutting back and there's a state deficit. My property values rose over $20,000. I don't understand that because property values in Rhode Island dropped at least 8 percent last year. There should be a cut in our taxes, not another raise.
After reading about the salaries of Bristol town employees, I can see why my taxes are going up.
My god. I could not believe what I read on the Speakout. All the hatred against Cianci. When was the last time you did something good for someone? I bet never. You're probably one of those people who pound their chests every Sunday. As the saying goes, 'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.' Do me a favor, check your conscience before you go to bed tonight.
Hello, thank you for providing this. The fire fighters did a remarkable job on April 17. All North Farm residents are grateful for their efforts. Thank you.
As a Bristol taxpayer, I would like to request that all Bristol taxpayers go to town hall and request copies of the meeting minutes for the personnel board for March 10, 2008 and April 8, 2008. Maybe as a taxpayer, after reading the minutes, you will understand why something fishy is going on in Bristol.
Note: Copies of the meeting minutes are available online at the Bristol Phoenix website, www.eastbayri.com/bristol/bristol.php.
