Former Bayberry Garden Club member, avid gardener

Victoria Mary Brzys Bruno, 74, of Bristol, passed away on April 17, 2004.

Born on Jan. 15, 1930 in Westfield, Mass., she was the daughter of Victoria Noga and Frank Brzys.

Ms. Bruno was a past member of the Bayberry Garden Club, and volunteered at Rhode Island Hospital and the Genesis School in Providence. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed painting, crossword puzzles and a vigorous game of Scrabble.

She leaves four daughters, Marie MacLellan of Chelmsford, Mass., Judith Bruno of Palm Desert, Calif., Ellen Bruno of San Francisco, Calif., and Kristen Bruno of San Francisco; and four beloved grandchildren, John and Rory MacLellan and Maia and Tikloh Bruno-BaSaing.

A private memorial service was celebrated in her honor.
