Police bust alleged cocaine dealers

Police seized crack cocaine, cash and an antique revolver during Saturday's raid.
WARREN — Two downtown residents suspected of dealing crack cocaine out of their Water Street apartment are being held without bail after a raid Saturday afternoon.

Police charged Justin Chiellini, 22, and Gina D. Simao, 24, both of 173 Water St., second floor, with possession of cocaine with intent to deliver and conspiracy to violate the Rhode Island Controlled Substances Act. The two were arraigned before Judge Michael Higgins and are being held without bail at the Adult Correctional Institution in Cranston pending a bail review hearing on Friday, May 23.

Arrested in the raid were Justin Chiellini, 22, and Gina D. Simao, 24.
Ten Warren police officers raided the couple's apartment at about 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10 and seized a large quantity of cash, a firearm and a crack cocaine with an estimated value of $10,000. The raid came after a two-month investigation into the sale of cocaine on Water Street. Detective Sergeant Roy Borges and Detective David Annunziata led the investigation.
