Stella V. Zinni, 73, of 90 Fales Ave., died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, at home. She was the wife of the late Nicholas J. Zinni.

Born in Barrington, a daughter of Angelina (DeAngelis) DiSanto of Barrington and the late Salvatore DiSanto, she was a lifelong resident of the town.

A school lunch worker for the State of Rhode Island for more than 20 years, she retired in 1993. Mrs. Zinni was a member of Council 94, Local 2872 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.

Besides her mother, she leaves two sons, David N. and John N. Zinni, both of East Providence; two grandsons; two nieces; a grandniece and a grandnephew. She was the sister of the late Lillian (DiSanto) Rodrigues.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 19, from the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Church, 341 Maple Ave. Burial will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery in Barrington.
