Yvonne (Caisse) Lanneville, 99, passed away Saturday, July 19. She was the wife of the late Lucien Lanneville. Born in Warren, RI, she was a daughter of the late Leon and Marie Louise (Contois) Caisse.

She is survived by her daughters, Annette Minnick and her husband James of Glens Falls, NY, and Louise Staples and her husband Lee of Hopkinton and Fairhaven, Mass.; sister Rosetta McGovern; grandchildren Kevin Minnick, Andrew Minnick, James Minnick III, Joshua Staples and Rebecca Staples; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Louis, George and Leo Caisse, Pauline Cappacelli, Anita Castro and Marie Lee Stark.

Ms. Lanneville left school at grade 6 to support her immigrant family. Her work life progressed as she became a highly skilled seamstress, working for many years in the textile mills of Fall River and Warren. Yvonne loved gardening, family gatherings, needlework, and preparing holiday meals. A remarkably healthy woman, she lived and cared for herself into her 90s, only moving into assisted living at age 95.

Visitation will be held at 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday July 23 at the Wilbur Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 in St. Jean the Baptiste Church, 328 Main St., Warren. Burial in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Vernon St., Warren.
