Westport Police: Man charged with violating abuse restraining order

Downed wires were reported on Reed Road at 11:08 a.m.

Saturday, March 16

Martin Cutler, 29, of Taunton, Mass., was charged with felony breaking and entering in the nighttime, use of an infected bodily fluid (poison) to inure holy water, and numerous other charges in connection with the break-in at St. John the Baptist Church.

James Allen, 43, of Fall River was arrested at 6:36 p.m. on a charge of violating an abuse restraining order.

Sunday, March 17

After responding to a domestic disturbance report on Division Road at 12:50 a.m., police charged Robert J. McClarren, 56, of 315 Division Road, with domestic assault.

Vandalism was reported on Watuppa Road at 3:54 a.m.

Monday, March 18

Following a 7:23 a.m. motor vehicle stop on State Road, police arrested James E. Lambert, 24, of Fall River, on a warrant.

Wednesday, March 20

Fallen wires were reported on Briggs Road at 4:48 p.m.

Friday, March 22

Police were called to Old Bedford Road a 11 a.m. for a break-in.
