Westport Police: Domestic assault, vandals hit J Drive

Vandalism was reported on Drift Road at 3:45 p.m.

Crews responded to wires down on Monroe Street at 4:40 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 11

A break-in was reported on Senechal Drive at 10:02 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 12

A J Drive resident reported vandalism at 7:52 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 13

At 2:09 a.m., police were called to Milk Avenue for a domestic disturbance. There they arrested Alex Igreja on a domestic assault charge.

Another report of vandalism was called in from J Drive at 10:09 a.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 14

After checking on a disabled motor vehicle at the corner of Route 88 and Briggs Road at 9:28 a.m., police arrested Daniel R. MacMillian, 21, of Warren, RI, on a charge of possession of a Class A drug.

A break-in was reported on Drift Road at 1:10 p.m.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986.
