Warren police logs: Two charged with DUI

Monday, Nov. 5

Police assisted a motorist who ran out of gas shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Sanders Street.

A caller from Davis Street told police that a fellow tenant yelled at her after she woke her up.

A caller from Market Street complained that a “bouncy house” that had been ordered for a neighbor’s party was mistakenly erected on his property. Police reported that the house had been deflated and the rental company was on the way to move it next door.

Talia C. Kelley, 34, of East Providence, was picked up by Barrington police on a Warren warrant for passing of counterfeit bills.

A caller reported a man urinating in public near Baker and Main streets.

A woman called police just before 2 p.m. to report that a man on Main Street, who was holding an open container, appeared to be having trouble standing.

Aaron L. Melvin, 41, of Tiverton, was charged with disorderly conduct after a woman on Main Street called police at 4:49 p.m. to report that an intoxicated man was yelling at people.

A Main Street man reported his daughter missing. She returned home early the next morning.

Tuesday, Nov. 6

Police dispersed two people after seeing a man and woman arguing over cigar-smoking outside a Main Street property.

A Child Street woman reported being harassed at her workplace.

The night manager of a Metacom Avenue restaurant told police that a man came to the drive through and asked for money. Police issued a no trespass order.

Wednesday, Nov. 7

A camera was reported stolen from a car parked on Fern Drive.

Timothy R. Dubois, 26, of 19 Ridgeway Drive, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after police were called to that address by a man who said he had just been assaulted.

Irina A. Bublik, 30, of 11 Davis St., Apt. 2, was picked up on an arrest warrant.

Thursday, Nov. 8

A Market Street business owner reported receiving counterfeit money.

A Ridgeway Drive woman reported being harassed online.

A Fern Drive woman reported the theft of various items from her car a few nights earlier.

A Market Street woman brought her disobedient son into police headquarters for a talking to.

Friday, Nov. 9

An aggressive driver was reported on Metacom Avenue.

A Croade Street woman reported being harassed by a neighbor.

Items were reported stolen from a car parked on Detroit Avenue.

Saul D. Umana, 53, of Providence, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and refusal to submit to a chemical test, after police pulled him over on Market Street just before 5 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 11

Nicholas P. Hill, 19, of 18 Brady St., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and refusal to submit to a chemical test, after police pulled him over on Almy Avenue at 12:18 a.m.

A Market Street resident complained about a dog barking all night.
