Monday, June 3
Jesse W. Lewis, 33, of 175 Water St., was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct after police were called to a domestic disturbance on Water Street at about 9:42 a.m.
Police got a complaint that someone double parked a car across a handicapped space on Metacom Avenue.
Police got a call that there was a drunk person on Metacom Avenue who might try to get into a car to drive away.
Derick W. Case, 32, of East Providence, was charged with violating a restraining order after police picked him up on a warrant.
Police got reports of a youngster "causing a problem" behind the Hugh Cole School. They did not elaborate.
A Market Street man asked that police remove his girlfriend from his apartment.
Someone complained that a man on Vernon Street was running his boat motor at 9:02 p.m.
Tuesday, June 4
A Third Street resident who had had too much to drink called and asked for a rescue at 7:15 a.m.
A caller told police that a man was sleeping in a car parked on Schoolhouse Road.
A Libby Lane resident reported the theft of a handicapped plate.
A caller told police that kids were driving around Third Street in an unregistered car.
An aggressive driver was reported on Market Street.
Wednesday, June 5
A Barrington woman called police to report that he was overdue at her place. Her call came in at 12:03 a.m.
An Ellis Avenue woman called police after spotting her neighbor's door open.
A Laurel Lane resident reported being threatened by a neighbor.
Police reported that kids were driving off-road vehicles and unregistered cars along Taddy Avenue.
A resident complained that a man at Water and Main streets was harassing passers-by for money.
Thursday, June 6
A resident called to report two men going into a house which had been owned by a man who passed away recently. Police determined the men had a right to be there and were maintaining the property.
Someone complained about a dog chained to a pole with a short leash. The animal control officer arrived, moved the dog to a shaded area and gave it water, and left a note for the owner.
Edmund C. LaRue, 57, of 53 Seymour St., was charged with violating a no contact order and domestic simple assault/battery, third offense, after police picked him up on a warrant.
Someone complained that kids at Water and Miller streets were "using vulgar language loudly."
Friday, June 7
Someone complained about a dog barking for two hours inside a Vernon Street apartment.
A Bagy Wrinkle Cove woman told police someone broke into her house.
A Water Street man told police that someone broke into his car and stole his wallet.
David A. Girard, 31, of 76 Arlington Ave., third floor, was charged with larceny under $500 after someone on Joyce Street reported a theft.
A Cherry Street woman told police her change jar was missing.
Police were asked to assist a motorist whose car was stuck in the water at Main and Miller streets.
Saturday, June 8
A possible drunk driver call came in from Metacom Avenue at 12:22 a.m.
Someone spotted a loose woodchuck on Child Street and promptly called the authorities.
A few streets over, a Wood Street resident called police after spotting his neighbor's dog defecating on his driveway. No word on whether it was a so-called "copycat" crime committed following the infamous Patriot Liquors pony poop case from late last month.
A child driving a small battery-powered car on Ellis Avenue drew a call to police. An officer spoke to the mother and child about safety.
A home on Main Street was broken into, the owner reported.
A Davis Street girl reported being assaulted by her boyfriend.
Kerry A. Bergeron, 25, of 20 Union St., second floor, was arrested on a warrant.
A caller told police that four people were having six in a Metacom Avenue parking lot at 6:11 p.m. There was no further information.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on Davis Street on a warrant for domestic simple assault.
A fireworks call came in from Katie Drive at 9:07 p.m.
A barking dog call came in from Harris Avenue at 11:15 p.m.
Sunday, June 9
Trevor Krous Gaskell, 33, of 15 Touisset Road, was picked up at his home on a warrant for second degree robbery.
A landlord and tenant got into it on Thompson Street.
Christopher P. Fralic, 25, of Bristol, was pulled over on Long Lane at 8:16 p.m. and charged with driving in possession of controlled substances.
A man was spotted yelling at Market Street passers-by at 8:17 p.m.
A Child Street woman reported being harassed by a neighbor.
