Monday, March 11
A Patterson Avenue woman complained about a neighbor's trash. An officer spoke to the neighbor about her complaint.
A Water Street resident complained about loud noise just after 11 a.m. Officers arrived with a decibel meter but construction work, the source of the noise, had stopped for the day.
Police checked on the well-being of a man reportedly walking along Market Street in his pajamas. Everything was ok; he told an office he was just headed to Sip N Dip.
A Wood Street resident complained about a barking dog.
A Long Lane resident reported seeing a car that did not belong to him in his driveway. turned out to be a misunderstanding; a mechanic who came to the neighborhood had the wrong address.
Indya J. Brown, 24, of Riverside, was charged with violating a no contact order after a car in which she was a passenger was pulled over at Market Street and Grove Avenue just before 6 p.m. The driver, Jermaine O. Oladapo, 31, of Cumberland, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, third or subsequent offense.
Michael W. McAdam, 22, of 624 Metacom Ave., was arrested on a bench warrant from Sixth Division District Court in Providence.
Tuesday, March 12
A woman asked that police remove a man from her Metacom Avenue home.
A Rollingwood Court man reported a possibly sick raccoon, which had been leaning against his door for a while.
Wednesday, March 13
Jeffrey Sarita, 25, of Providence, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, third or subsequent offense, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, after police pulled him over on Market Street just after 8:30 a.m.
A Child Street resident reported receiving threats.
Thursday, March 14
A car struck a fence on Kickemuit Road.
A caller reported hearing people arguing in a nearby apartment on Main Street. It turned out to be kids who were playing loudly.
A caller from Main street reported that three people stole a bottle of liquor. Police looked for the three but could not locate them.
A caller reported a man looking into cars along Miller and Main streets.
Friday, March 15
National Grid was called out after police received reports that a tree fell across utility wires at Avenue A and Taylor Street.
A woman on Child Street complained that a man kept driving by and harassing her.
A woman found a wallet on Barney Street and turned it over to police.
Saturday, March 16
A loose dog reported running around Main Street just after 8 p.m. was taken to the Warren Animal Shelter.
Ashley R. Alvarado, 21, of Warwick, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct after police were called to Main Street just before 10 p.m. for a report of an assault.
Sunday, March 17
An East Providence man was arrested after he allegedly confronted a 19-year-old man on Main Street at knifepoint. Police said Fernando Costa, 20, confronted the alleged victim after learning that the victim had contacted his sister, 14, on the dating site Tinder. Mr. Costa faces charges of felony assault with a dangerous weapon, simple assault and disorderly conduct.
Edward L. Pacheco, 67, of 22 Vernon St., was charged with driving under the influence of liquor or drugs, first offense, BAC .15 or greater, after police pulled him over at Main and Vernon streets at 3:50 p.m.
Donald L. Cunningham, 41, of 390 Metacom Ave., first floor, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after police got a call about a possibly intoxicated man walking near Child and Adams streets shortly before 6:30 p.m.
