Walter W. Hebert Jr., 77, of Warren, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Hospice in Providence.

Born in Fall River, a son of the late Walter and Evelyn (Tardie) Hebert, he was a life-long area resident.

Mr. Hebert served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and worked in elevator construction for many years until his retirement in 1996.

He was the brother of Karen Morris (and her companion Glenn Bigelow) of Rehoboth, MA. and George W.  Hebert (and his wife Millie) of California. He also leaves his nephews, Gregory Morris, Wayne, Mark and Kevin Hebert, and his niece Patrice (Morris) Preziuso. He also leaves two great-nieces and two great-nephews.

He was a member of the National Elevator Workers Union and enjoyed hunting and fishing in Vermont.
