Two Warren teens make Eagle Scout

Posted

Warren has two new Eagle Scouts. Troop 25's Nicholas Andreadis and Adam Cabral received their badges during a ceremony held at Warren Fire Station 3 on Vernon Street last Tuesday, August 14. Nick has been a scout for 12 years, Adam for 11 years. Nick's Eagle Project entailed doing a comprehensive inventory of the towns' fire hydrants, while Adam ran a blood drive. The Master of Ceremonies at Tuesday's event was Lieut. Vinny Calenda, Eagle Scout, and also officiating were Scoutmaster Steve Deschenes, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader Cliff Lezark and Senior Patrol Leader Jacob Silva. Senator Walter Felag presented the boys with citations from both the Rhode Island House of Representatives and Senate, and Demetri Andreadis, Nick's brother and a Troop 25 Eagle Scout, presented Nicholas and Adam with the Eagle Challenge and Charge.
