Thursday, March 22 would be the 95th birthday of world renowned mime Marcel Marceau. In honor of the date, Portsmouth resident and Bit Players performer Vlad Tenenbaum will be giving a presentation celebrating his life and work at the Firehouse Theater in Newport. In 1984, Tenenbaum found this magazine (pictured), and it was the beginning of the road that led him to being in Marceau’s class only six months later. As a former student of Marceau’s as well as a fan of his work for many years, Tenenbaum has many personal stories as well as memorabilia and photographs to share.
