Trafford's sells for $1.35 million

The site of a popular restaurant in Warren has changed hands.

The building that houses Trafford: A Restaurant at 285 Water St. sold for $1.347 milion; the sale was recorded at Warren Town Hall on Wednesday, Jan. 29. It was sold by A&R One of Smithfield, R.I., to the MHWJ Group LLC.

There was no word Friday on what the building’s sale means for Trafford’s itself, if anything. The purchasing LLC's manager is Russell Goyette, a co-owner of Trafford.

He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
