Information Meeting

Hope & Main has filed an application for a U.S. Department of Agriculture Community Facilities Loan. This loan will fund the construction and renovation of the Main Street School (689 Main Street, Warren, RI). The proposed project is intended to further opportunities for businesses to store, cook, pack and market food products.

A public information meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1st, 2012 at the Main Street School, 691 Main Street, Warren, RI 02885, for the purposes of obtaining the comments of citizens on the proposed project.

A public OPEN HOUSE is also scheduled for October 11, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. This event will have food and beverages and is intended to educate all Warren residents on the proposed development.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
