Sealed bids will be received until 12 noon on December 5, 2012, for furnishing the Town of Bristol with the following:

GENERATOR CONNECTION 9 Court Street

BIDS WILL BE OPENED AT 12 NOON AT THE BRISTOL TOWN HALL, 10 COURT STREET ON DECEMBER 5, 2012 FOR THE TOWN COUNCIL MEETING OF DECEMBER 5, 2012.

The Town of Bristol (Owner) is seeking quotes for a 200 AMP service entrance rated, automatic transfer switch to include exercise timer. Quotes also to include a 200 AMP, 3 pole, generator breaker in its own can to be mounted to the existing generator by Owner. Parts supplied are to be compatible with an existing Caterpillar D100-4 Generator.

Specifications may be obtained and bids MUST be filed at the Office of the Town Clerk, 10 Court Street, Bristol, RI 02809. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked on the outside “GENERATOR CONNECTION EQUIPMENT, Bid No. 772, December 5, 2012.” Bids will be opened at 12 noon at the Bristol Town Hall, 10 Court Street on December 5, 2012. The Town Council reserves all rights to reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, or to go on the open market when is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.

All proposals are subject to the provisions of Chapter 13 of Title 37 of the RI General Laws as amended, including but not limited to those provisions relative to prevailing wages as applicable.
