Tony Lastoria Sr., 82, Pataskala, Ohio

Tony "Moose" Lastoria Sr., 82, of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013 in Pataskala, after a long illness.

Born on June 11, 1930 in Warren to the late Michael and Anna (Sullo) Lastoria, Tony was a kind and loving man who lived a full life.

His son, Tony Jr., and daughter-in-law, Mary of Pataskala; daughtersJeanette Grant and Debra Rose Grammer of Virginia; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, survive him. He also leaves three sisters, Antoinette Nappi of Portsmouth, Carolyn Arruda of Warren and Mary Frederick of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Bess Elizabeth (Bloemendal) Lastoria, who passed away a month earlier. Also preceding him in death was his first wife, Rhea, stepdaugther Penny, and two sisters, Concetta Cadile and Virgina DeLeo, both of Warren.

Services were held at the Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home in Pataskala on Wednesday, May 1, and at Smith Funeral Home in Warren, RI, on Friday, May 3. Internment was at St. Alexander's Cemetery in Warren, RI.
