Tiverton police: Man passed out in restaurant faces drug charge
Wednesday, March 6
At 10:31 a.m. after a north Stafford Road area restaurant reported two people passed out inside, police charged Joshua Dalton, 24, of Fall River with possession of a scheduled drug (44 alprazolan pills).
Monday, March 4
After being observed driving erratically on Route 24 north at 6:32 p.m., C. Ray Dutton, 48, of North Dartmouth, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, refusal to submit to a chemical test, refusal to submit to a preliminary breathalyzer test, and driving with alcohol present in the car. He was also charged with three traffic violations (laned roadway, leaving the lane of travel, and speeding).
At 11:32 p.m., Jaime Emmanuel Vieira, 25, of Fall River, was stopped on Highland Road and charged under a 6th District Court bench warrant.
Wednesday, March 6
After being stopped for speeding at 5:17 p.m., Joseph Allen Monteiro Jr., 29, was charged under a warrant with attempted breaking and entering.
Saturday, March 9
Affonso Tarisa Talynne, 21, of Fall River, was charged under a Superior Court warrant at 6:20 p.m. after being stopped for not wearing a seat belt.
Sunday, March 10
After he was stopped on Route 24 for going 81 mph in a 55 mph zone at 7:13 p.m., Anthony Marcotte, 20, of Cranston, was charged under an affidavit and arrest warrant for passing counterfeit bills.
At 7:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in progress, and charged Candice Pacheco, 38, of 19 Mill Street, Tiverton, under a 2nd District Court bench warrant with failure to appear for a pre-trial conference.
At 9:24 p.m., Michaela E. Thomas, 38, of 293 Robert Gray Avenue, Tiverton, was charged under an affidavit and arrest warrant from Warren, and Jared Chase, 38, of the same address, was charged with with domestic, simple assault, domestic vandalism, and domestic, disorderly conduct after he kicked in a door and broke it, in the process injuring Ms. Thomas.
Monday, March 11
After being stopped for not wearing a seat belt, Maximin C. Cote, 52, of 132 Campion Avenue, Tiverton, was charged at 6:45 p.m. with driving under the influence of alcohol, refusal to submit to a chemical test, possession of and driving while in possession of a scheduled drug (oxycontin), and four traffic violations (seat belt, laned roadway, passing, use of breakdown lane).
At 9:28 p.m., Daniel Massey, 24, of Little Compton, was charged with possession of, and driving while in possession of, marijuana.
