Tiverton girls lose to Rogers


The Tiverton girls basketball team lost to Rogers 42-30 Friday at Rogers. The loss moved Tiverton to 4-2 overall (and 1-1 in league play) on the season.

After a close first half, (23-24 Rogers) the Vikings were able to pull away from Tiverton. Tiverton had trouble handling Rogers' size inside giving up 14 points to both Brianne Morgera and Nyjah Riron. Tiverton's next game was this Tuesday, Jan. 7, against Tolman.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986.
