Tiverton firefighters to deliver Christmas food baskets

Posted
TIVERTON  —  Tiverton FireFighters Local 1703 will soon be conducting its annual Christmas food basket distribution to Tiverton families that are in need of assistance this Christmas season. Any family that is in need of a basket, or knows of a family that needs one, is being asked to call Firefighter Pat White at 401-266-8434. Callers are asked to leave the name, address and telephone number, along with the number of people in the family. Alternatively, residents may stop by Fire Station #2 at 85 Main Road, and leave the information in an envelope addressed to Firefighter White. All information about recipients must be received by Friday, December 14. Baskets will be given on a first come, first serve basis due to the limited number of baskets.
