Tigers triumph at cheerleading states again

The state champion Tiverton cheerleaders pose for a team photo after their Rhode Island Small Division victory Saturday. Coaches are Kristen Kane and Susan McDermott. “This was their best performance of the season. They gave it there all and pushed through their routine flawlessly,” Coach Kane said. Tiverton competed against Burrillville HS, St Ray's Academy, North Smithfield, and Narragansett. The team has won the Small Division state title for the past four years (2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019). This was the final competition for six seniors — Juliana Manousos , Mackenzie Galhardo, Charline Silva, Mikayla Carbral, Olivia Destremps, and Maddy Melvin.
