Tigers defeat Toll Gate 4-0 in tennis playoffs

Both teams sported gaudy 11-2 Division III records but Tiverton’s boys tennis team dominated Toll Gate 4-0 in Saturday’s playoff action.

In singles, Tiverton’s

Dylan Clark defeated Toll Gate’s Datyn Deasley 6-3, 6-4, while Josh Dore of Tiverton beat Max Fields 6-1, 6-1.

In doubles action, Devin Guerrera and Will Brigham of Tiverton defeated Daniel Tariq and Colin Levin, Toll Gate, 6-3, 6-3 Katie Phillips and Carson Hart, Tiverton, defeated Mason Savaria and Matt Depardo, Toll Gate,6-0, 6-1.

Playoffs continue Sunday.
