Thereselee Asselin, 43, Warren

Thereselee (Bunn) Asselin, 43, of Warren, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at home. Born in Tulsa, OK, a daughter of Patrice (Rioux) Bunn, she had worked as an office manager at Carl F. Benevides Contracting. She was the wife of Stephen Asselin.
She lived in Warren for the last 16 years and had been a member of the Warren Fire Department Rescue Squad.
Besides her husband and mother, she leaves a son, Michael Imondi of Providence; and her daughters, Nicole Duncan of West Warwick and Kayla Lacombe of Fall River. She also leaves a grandson, Jordan.
Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where family will receive friends, Wednesday, Dec. 19 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 6:30. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the WFD Rescue Squad, 1 Joyce Street, Warren, RI 02885.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
