Theresa “Terry” Braun, 68, of Warren, passed away at home on Saturday, May 19, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Terry was a graduate of Warren High School.
She dedicated her life to being an advocate for adults with special needs. Her expansive career included positions at the Blackstone Valley ARC and the ARC of Northern Bristol County.
Terry was an active member of the community. She was the former President of the Warren Little League and served on the Warren School Committee. She was a passionate Boston Red Sox fan, and had a love of cooking, traveling and entertaining. Her children will always hold dear the wonderful memories of the many family vacations with her over the years. Her friends will remember her for her great parties and enduring friendship.
Terry was the daughter of the late Antoine and Bertha (Mikulski) Boulanger. She is survived by Robert “Bob” Braun, her devoted husband of 50 years.
She also leaves behind three sons, Jason and his wife Julie, Seth and his wife Diane, and Matthew and his wife Kristen. She was grandmother “Mia” to Kelsey, Jameson, Madelyn and Nolan, as well as step-grandmother to Lucas and Landry Thompson.
Terry was the youngest child in a family of nine children and was predeceased by six of her siblings, the late Edward Boulanger, Roland “Ace” Boulanger, Antoine Boulanger Jr., Richard Boulanger, Esther Thivierge and Florence DaCosta. She is survived by her sisters, Bertha Pare and Corrine Guimond, as well as many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her calling hours on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm at Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren. A private funeral service will follow.
