The Collaborative's Grand Re-Re-Re-opening

The Collaborative, once again, has been closed for January and February to regroup, allow returning members to create new work and add an impressive group of new artist members. Featured at the Grand Re-Opening Event will be a few member artists who have been with The Collaborative since the beginning including: Janet Moscarello of Janet Moscarello Photography, Sandy MacDonald of Sandy MacDonald Studios, and Faye Silvia of Recedentian. There are also carryovers from last year including Kristin Divona, David Everett, Matt DeLeo, Joe Lytle, Dina Haskins and Matt Roza of Matt Roza Design | Studio. New additions to this year’s roster of artists include Ariel Bordeaux, Rick Altergott and Jayne McQuaid.

Meet our staff
Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
