Teen foodie creates calendar to benefit Food Bank

Posted

Seasoned chef and food blogger Catherine Amoriggi, a 16 year-old student at St. Mary Academy Bay View, is putting her skills to good use for hungry families in Rhode Island. Catherine has created a 2014 wall calendar, featuring recipes of her own creation, each accompanied by a professionally-shot photograph. She has pledged the proceeds of the calendar—100%—to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. The 365 Food Calendar 2014 is now on sale for $15 at Barrington Books. In addition, the calendar can be purchased online at www.rifoodbank.org/gifts.
