Teen BFest: Teen Readers..don't miss out on all the fun, activities, giveaways and prizes from 1pm-6pm. Schedule of events below:

B-Fest: Saturday, Sept 23rd from 1pm-6pm1pm: is B-In the Know: YA trivia activities: feature three fun games designed to test teen’s book knowledge. The featured activity is Trivia Blast, TriviYA Game and Fierce Reads Trivia.2pm: B-Super: Teen Winners from Write RI contest last year will read excerpts from the winning pieces and sign copies of the book Write Rhode Island Anthology. .Also, this hour will feature Super Hero trivia, Create Your Own Super Hero logo, and Mad Libs, plus prizes and giveaways.3pm: B-Part of the Fun: Teen YA games/trivia - also featuring special activities created by Coventry High School High School special . Reading with Robin will serve as MC

Also, teen customers can attend to show their fandom and test their knowledge.

5pm: B-Creative: Write RI and Goat Hill workshop for teens in grades 7th-12th grade interested in writing and learning about how to enter Write Rhode Island competition.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
