Saturday, June 24, 6:30 p.m.

This group spans six decades of music, performing together since 1990, and is well known for its instrumental and vocal arrangements. Beginning as a trio, they have grown to a quartet to enhance their sound and play larger venues. With unique interpretations of classic tunes, jazz standards, and cutting edge arrangements, the PSR Band presents an audience pleasing show not to be missed.  

REMINISCE

Saturday, June 25, 7:45 p.m.
REMINISCE is an 8 member oldies group specializing in songs from the 50’s and early 60’s.  With 4 vocalists and 4 instrumentalists, the group prides itself on achieving the original record sound when performing any song.  Arrangements are as close to the original group sound as possible.  REMINISCE has performed for national and regional audiences and continues to carry on the “Oldies” tradition.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
