Steve Jobs has died

Posted

Apple has reported that Steve Jobs has passed today. Little details have been released about cause of his passing. He recently stepped down as CEO of Apple and has fought pancreatic cancer in the past.

Apple released a statement saying "Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an unsparing mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple."

Steve Jobs has revolutionized the tech industry from computers to cell phones and mobile devices. With the success of iTunes and the App Store, Steve has also been a huge positive to independent game developers and the video game industry. Creative developers with little to no capital have been able to produce amazing apps and games and get those products to millions easily.

He is the modern days Thomas Edison and has touch so many. You can share your thoughts, memories and condolences at their website, http://www.apple.com/stevejobs/.
