'Sister Act' in Fall River

Posted

Little Theatre of Fall River presents the uproarious, award-winning musical Sister Act! Based on the hit 1992 film of the same name starring Whoopie Goldberg, Sister Act tells the story of “disco diva”, Deloris Van Cartier, a witness to a murder. She is put in protective custody where the cops are sure she won't be a found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself fighting both the rigid lifestyle and an uptight Mother Superior. Her unique disco moves and singing talent inspire the choir, however, and Deloris brings new life into the church and community. But, in doing so, she blows her cover.
