Shirley L. Aniello, 87, East Providence

Shirley L. Aniello, 87, of North Broadway, died peacefully on Jan. 8, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of Vincent T. Aniello.

Mrs. Aniello was a communicant of St. Brendan Church and former member of the church choir.  She enjoyed playing the piano, listening to music and her art. Shirley was a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design Class of 1946.

Besides her husband of 59 years, she is survived by two sons; Thomas V. Aniello of Warwick and Alfred W. Aniello of East Providence, two daughters; Elizabeth A. Banasik of Webster, Mass., and Jean M. Martin of East Providence, a sister; Joyce Mabey of New Hampshire, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Dorothy Hildreth.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 15, from the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside.  Burial will be held in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
