Ruth Borden, 86, formerly of Tiverton

Ruth Borden 86, formerly of Tiverton,  died on Wednesday, March 13, 2013.  She had been residing at The Willows in Warren but spent most of her life in the Nanaquaket area of Tiverton.  She was the wife of the late Walter Borden.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Bella (Saucier) and William Raymond.  She had attended B.M.C. Durfee High School.  She had been a long time Avon representative and had received numerous awards.
She was very active at St. Marks  Episcopal Church, now Church of the Holy Spirit.
She is survived by a brother, William Raymond, and a sister, Muriel Batchler, both of California. She also leaves nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Lester Raymond and the late Pearl Quinn.
