Rose T. Sullivan, 95, Westport

Rose T. (Joaquim) Sullivan, 95, of Westport, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of the late William F. Sullivan.

Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Julio and Maria (Estrella) Joaquim, she was a lifelong resident of Westport. Mrs. Sullivan, born into a family of 12 children, was predeceased by her 11 siblings.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a seamstress for the Royal Garment Co. in Fall River. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Rose M. (Sullivan) Ouellette Rego of Westport; her four grandchildren, Steven J. Ouellette, Lynn Ouellette, Sherri Swainamer and Kherri-Lynn Rego; five great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Home, Westport.
