Roger Williams University's Intercultural Center hosts annual Global Fest

Celebrate cultural diversity and experience cultures from over 20 countries represented by RWU students, who will share stories and traditional cultural activities at the Intercultural Center's annual Global Fest event. From noon-1 p.m. enjoy a performance by Caribbean steel drum band Jason Roseman & Tropical Gems; from 1-2 p.m., Boston-based group Sinha Capoeira will give capoeira demonstrations; and from 2-3 p.m., RWU students will offer a variety of performances from a cappella singing to contemporary dance to a traditional dance performance by Saudi international students.

WHERE: RWU Campus Recreation Center Fieldhouse, 1 Old Ferry Road, Bristol

WHEN: 12-3 p.m., April 3
