Each week the Personal Injury Law Offices of d’Oliviera & Associates compiles a summary of recalls, FDA warnings, market withdrawals and safety alerts that they feel the public should be aware of for their safety and so that they can make informed decisions.

Here are 24 recalls to be aware of this week:

Auto
  • Honda’s pickup trucks recalled because they can catch fire from car wash soap. The pickup trucks from model years 2017, 2018 and 2019 are affected by an issue stemming from fuel pump feed ports, which can be corroded over time by acids found in products like car wash soaps.
  • Ford Motor Co said on Wednesday it was recalling about 1.48 million F-150 pickup trucks in North America due to a potential transmission downshift issue that could increase the risk of a crash.
  • Mazda North American Operations is recalling approximately 14,370 model year 2016-2019 Mazda MX-5 Miatas. Electrical noise in the automatic transmission’s range signal may be detected while driving in “D” range, causing the vehicle to unexpectedly downshift, resulting in an abrupt deceleration of the drive wheels.
  • Porsche recalls various Panamera model vehicles with steering issue. The vehicles may suffer an intermittent loss of electric power steering assist.

Food, Beverage & Nutritional Supplements
  • Nature’s Path Foods Recalls A Specific Production Run Of Envirokidz Choco Chimps, Gorilla Munch And Jungle Munch Cereals Due To Undeclared Gluten.
  • VICS Acquisition recalls chicken products. The products contain eggs, an allergen not declared on the label.
  • Smoked Alaska Seafoods, Inc. Recalls 6.5 oz Jars & Cans of Smoked Silver Salmon Because of Possible Health Risk.
  • Sid Wainer and Son of New Bedford, MA is voluntarily recalling Jansal Valley brand Dukkah in 2.5oz containers because of the potential of it containing glass pieces.
  • World Waters is recalling of certain lots of Cold Pressed Juice Watermelon WTRMLN WTR Original 12 packs. The products may be contaminated with pieces of soft plastic.
  • Panola County Processing LLC on Monday recalled about 59 pounds of smoked sausage products because of a processing deviation that may have led to under-processing of products, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
  • BRF S.A. has recalled more than 450 tons of fresh chicken because of potential Salmonella contamination.Recalled Noodles
  • Ottogi America expands noodlerecall. The products may contain egg, an allergen not declared on the label.
  • McDaniel Life-Line recalls Indian Herb dietary supplement. The product has not received proper approval.
  • A public health alert posted today by the FDA warns consumers about Salmonella found in another tahini product. The implicated company, Soom Foods, had not initiated a recall at the time of the FDA alert, according to the agency.
  • Cheese made with raw milk from TB-positive herd recalled; two other cheese recalls are unrelated.
Infant & Children Products
  • The Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s recall notice does not say how or when its inspectors determined the Vivi & Tom brand baby foods could have been produced or packaged in such a way as to permit the growth of Clostridium botulinum.
  • Laboratorios Ordesa S.A. has recalled rice milk formula made at a Spanish factory suspected to be the source of a Salmonella outbreak.
  • Kingston Pharma, LLC Issues Voluntary Recall of All Lots of “DG™ Baby Gripe Water Due to Undissolved Ingredient, Citrus Flavonoid.
  • Target Recalls Toddler Boots Due to Choking Hazard. The unicorn horn on the boot can detach, posing a choking hazard to children.
Technology/Electronics
  • Shop LC Recalls Disco Ball LED Light Due to Burn and Fire Hazards. The battery can overheat while charging, posing burn and fire hazards.
  • PurpleAir Recalls Power Supply Units for Air Sensors Due to Fire and Burn Hazards. The power supplies can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards.
Household Products
  • CVB Recalls LUCID Folding Mattress-Sofas Due to Violation of Federal Mattress Flammability Standard. The mattresses fail to meet the mandatory federal flammability standard for mattresses, posing a fire hazard.
