Pharmaceuticals/Drugs

• Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Inc. Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall of Riomet® (Metformin Hydrochloride Oral Solution) Manufactured by a Contract Manufacturer due to Microbial Contamination.

• Greenstone Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall of Diphenoxylate Hydrochloride and Atropine Sulfate Tablets, USP Due to Possible Sub Potent and Super Potent Tablets.

• Limbrel Capsules by Primus Pharmaceuticals: FDA Advisory – Linked to Potentially Life-Threatening Health Problems.

Auto

• Jaguar Land Rover North America is recalling 21,998 model year 2017 Land Rover Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles. The instrument cluster (IC) may intermittently go blank and will not show important information like vehicle speed, increasing the risk of a crash.

• Honda has issued a recall for just under 807,000 Honda Odysseys from the 2011 to 2017 model years, as well as a stop-sale on Odysseys from those model years. The reason is that the second-row outboard seats, which can be positioned closer together or farther apart, might not properly latch when being installed in one of the positions.

Motorcycle/Scooters

• Silverstone Associates is recalling 620 Ride Eazy Trimless helmets. The helmets may not adequately protect the wearer in the event of a head impact during a motorcycle crash.

Utility/Recreational Vehicles & Automotive Accessories

• Arctic Cat Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles Recalled by Textron Specialized Vehicles Due to Fire Hazard. The winch solenoid located under the operator seat can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

Food, Beverage & Nutritional Supplements

• The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company LLC announced it removed from sale Stop & Shop Brand Frozen Whole Kernel Sweet Corn due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Stop & Shop Brand Frozen Whole Kernel Sweet Corn, 16 oz., UPC 68826700676 with a Best By Date of Oct-2019

• GIANT Food Stores, LLC and MARTIN’S Food Markets announced it removed from sale GIANT/MARTIN’S Brand Frozen Whole Kernel Sweet Corn due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. GIANT/MARTIN’S Brand Frozen Whole Kernel Sweet Corn, 16 oz., UPC 68826700676 with a Best By Date of Oct-2019

• Trader Joe’s Recalls Salads in 13 States Due to Glass Contamination. Contaminated products have a use by date between November 10 and November 21. They are marked with the U.S.D.A “Inspected” code P-40299.

• Colorado Nut Company of Denver, CO is recalling Cashew Cranberry Cherry Jubilee, Oat Bran Nutty Crunch, Honey Nutty Granola, Peanut Delight, and Frontier Trail Mix, because they may contain undeclared Milk.

• Goya de Puerto Rico is recalling 28 ounces Adobo with Cumin Seasoning and 28 ounces Adobo with Pepper Seasoning because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

• Casa Sanchez Foods of Hayward, CA, is voluntarily recalling all “Real Guacamole” and “Spicy Guacamole” products out of an abundance of caution in keeping with the company’s commitment to protect the public health. The recall was necessitated by positive test results for Listeria monocytogenes.

• Lipari Foods, LLC. Issues Voluntary Product Recall of Specific Dark Chocolate Products Due to Undeclared Milk Allergen.

• Seattle Gourmet Foods of Kent, Wash., is recalling 127 cases of Dilettante Chocolates Espresso Blend, Espresso Beans in Semisweet, Milk and White Chocolate. The product contain almonds, an allergen not declared on the label.

• Pride of Iowa Sandwiches of Marengo, Iowa, is recalling approximately 231 pounds of chicken, pork and beef wraps. The products did not undergo federal inspection.

• The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) late Monday issued a public health alert to inform consumers that 6,907 pounds of chicken products produced by Puerto Rico’s Productos Dany Inc. may contain products that have been recalled because they contain previously recalled ingredients.

• Missa Bay LLC in Swedesboro, NJ, is recalling 46 pounds of chicken wrap products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

Infant & Children Products

• Woolino Recalls Children’s Pajamas Due to Violation of Federal Flammability Standard. The children’s pajama sets fail to meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

Sporting Equipment

• Omega Pacific Recalls Carabiners Due to Risk of Injury or Death. The carabiner can break while in use, posing a risk of injury or death to the user.

• Precision Shooting Recalls Archery Crossbows Due to Injury Hazard. The crossbows can fire or discharge unexpectedly, posing an injury hazard to the user and to bystanders.

Household Products

• IKEA Reannounces Recall of MALM and Other Models of Chests and Dressers Due to Serious Tip-over Hazard; 8th Child Fatality Reported; Consumers Urged to Choose Between Refund or Repair. The recalled chests and dressers are unstable if they are not properly anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in injuries or death to children.

• Sleep Number Recalls Foot Warmers Sold with Sleep Number 360 Smart Beds Due to Burn Hazard. The foot warmer under the mattress cover can short circuit and overheat, posing a burn hazard.

Miscellaneous

• Goal Zero Recalls Solar Powered Charging Stations Due to Impact Hazard. The weld connecting the top and bottom posts can fail and allow the top post to fall, posing an impact hazard to nearby consumers.

• Plycem Recalls Allura DeckingDue to Fall and Injury Hazards. The recalled decking can deteriorate and crack, causing the deck surfacing to break. Consumers can fall through broken decking and suffer serious injuries.

• Bush Hog Recalls Riding Lawn Mowers Due to Laceration Hazard. The mower blade can separate from the spindle, posing a laceration hazard to the operator or bystanders.

• Smart Balance Wheel Self-Balancing Scooters/Hoverboards Recalled by Salvage World Due to Explosion and Fire Hazards. The lithium-ion battery packs in the self-balancing scooters/hoverboards can overheat, posing a risk of smoking, catching fire and/or exploding.

• Drone Nerds Recalls Self-Balancing Scooters/Hoverboards Due to Fire and Explosion Hazards. The lithium-ion battery packs in the self-balancing scooters/hoverboards can overheat, posing a risk of the products smoking, catching fire and/or exploding.

• Go Wheels Self-Balancing Scooters/Hoverboards Recalled by Four Star Imports Due to Fire and Explosion Hazards; Sold Exclusively at Village Mart. The lithium-ion battery packs in the self-balancing scooters/hoverboards can overheat, posing a risk of the products smoking, catching fire and/or exploding.
