Rachael A. Rene, 33, of Warren, died Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

She was the daughter of Gilbert Rene III of Warren and Lisa (Marchand) Rene of Warren.

Rachael was a former Hair Stylist for the Jon Richard Salon of Cranston for a few years, prior to becoming the mother of her eight-month-old son Julian, who was her greatest joy in life.

Rachael was a Warren resident all of her life. She was a parishioner of the former St. Jean Baptiste Church in Warren.

Besides her parents and her son, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Gilbert Rene Jr. of Warren and Dorothy Bianco of Warren; her brother, Gilbert Rene IV of Warren; her uncles, Thomas Marchand, William "Billy" Marchand and James Marchand, all of Warren; and her aunt, April Andrade, and uncle, David Andrade. Rachael is also survived by many cousins and friends. She was the Maternal granddaughter of the late Wilfred and Theresa (Landry) Marchand.

Miss Rene was the niece of the late Louis Marchand. Rachael was the sister of the late Melanie Rene, who died August 2018.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Vernon Street, Warren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 4 to 7 pm, and Friday, Jan. 25 from 9:30 am to 11:00am.
