PORTSMOUTH — Here are some highlights from the Portsmouth Police report from over the past week:

Wednesday, Sept. 13

Joseph M. Baptista, 41, of 76 Williams Road, Smithfield, was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) after his vehicle was pulled over for a traffic violation shortly before midnight on Route 24 North at Boyd’s Lane.

Thursday, Sept. 14

Carlos E. Fernandez Rosado, 25, of Robert H. Douglas Lane, Newport, was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) after his vehicle was pulled over for a traffic violation on West Main Road at Raytheon just after midnight.

Friday, Sept. 15

Soilandro Rafael Disla, 25, of 50 Jean St., Middletown, was charged with driving after his license had been suspended after he was pulled over for a traffic violation on Boyd’s Lane at the Founder’s Brook Hotel around 1 a.m. Police there was a Superior Court full bench warrant active form Mr. Disla’s arrest.

Todd Carvalho, 35, of 881 Bulgarmarsh Road, Tiverton, was charged with driving after his license had been denied, suspended or revoked, his third and subsequent offense. His vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation on Middle Road at Hedly Street at about 8 a.m., police said.

Saturday, Sept. 16

Joshua R. Case, 29, of 68 Benedict St., Pawtucket, was charged with driving after his license had been denied, suspended or revoked, his third and subsequent offense. His vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation on West Main Road at Scotty Drive around 11 a.m., police said.

Keegan E. Meade, 20, of 50 Harvest Drive, was charged with driving while intoxicated (second offense) following a motor vehicle accident on East Main Road at Goulart Lane at about 11:20 p.m. Mr. Meade was also cited for transporting alcohol as a minor and refusing a chemical test, according to police

Sunday, Sept. 17

Corwin M. Parker, 33, of 1125 12th St., NW, Apt., Washington, D.C., was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) after he was pulled over for a traffic violation on Route 24 North at Turnpike Avenue shortly before 1 a.m.

Tuesday

Kandice M. Jones, 18, of 16 Education Lane, was charged with shoplifting at the Portsmouth Shop, 2511 East Main Road, around 11 a.m.

Michael S. O’Neil, 52, of 285B Long Highway, Little Compton, was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) shortly before 7 p.m. Police stopped his vehicle on East Main Road at Union Street after getting a request to check the condition of an operator, police said. Mr. O’Neil was also cited for refusing a chemical test.
