Portsmouth Police charge 4 with assault in separate incidents

PORTSMOUTH — Here are some highlights from the Portsmouth Police report from over the past week.

Wednesday, Feb. 7

Amber D. Andreozzi, 41, of 2269 East Main Road, was charged with domestic assault and domestic vandalism (malicious injury to property) after police responded to her home around 8 a.m. for a report of a domestic assault/disturbance.

Thursday, Feb. 8

Andrew J. Riley, 26, of 74 Sprague St., was charged with obtaining money (under $1,500) under false pretenses around 2 p.m.

Matthew R. Hart, Jr., 21, of 13 Donna Drive, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after police responded to the area of Donna and Debra drives for a report of a suspicious person around 5:30 p.m. 

Saturday, Feb. 10

James L. Johnson, 49, of 785 Wapping Road, was charged with domestic assault (second offense) after police responded to his home around 9:30 p.m. for a report of a domestic assault/disturbance.

Wednesday, Feb. 13

Tammy Lambardo, 50, of 646 Bristol Ferry Road, Apt. 2, was charged with domestic assault after being arrested on a warrant at 6:30 p.m. at her home.

Thursday, Feb. 14

Robert A. Homer, Jr., 51, of 909 Main Road, Tiverton, was charged with assault and disorderly conduct after police responded to a report of an assault in the area of Boyd’s Lane and Chase Road around 3:45 p.m.

Philip F. Kinder, 51, of 44 Baylies Ave., was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) and resisting arrest. Police said they stopped Mr. Kinder for a traffic violation in the area of West Main Road and Mill Lane at about 11:40 p.m. Mr. Kinder was also cited for refusing a chemical test, police said.

He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once.
