Portsmouth High marching band plays at McCoy (photos)

PAWTUCKET — The Portsmouth High School marching band made its annual appearance at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket Saturday night, playing a few tunes during the pre-game show before coming back to perform The National Anthem.

Band members stayed to catch most of the game, which the Pawtucket Red Sox lost to Indianapolis, 4-3, despite a ninth-inning rally by the home team.

The band plays a concert at the high school at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, at 7 p.m. The chorus concert is a day earlier: 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 14.
