Portsmouth couple seeks to build shoreline rip rap wall

Posted
PORTSMOUTH — A Portsmouth couple's bid to build a stone rip rap wall along the shoreline edge of their property is up for decision before the Coastal Resources Management Council on Tuesday, Sept. 25. Peter and Kathleen Hendricks of 38 Lambie Circle have applied for permission to build and maintain a 150 linear foot riprap revetment along a coastal bluff. Armor stone will be placed to a height of approximately 9 feet up the coastal bluff. The remaining portion of the bluff will be replanted with native vegetation.
