Pony Camp

At our camp your child will learn how to safely lead, groom and saddle a pony along with basic horse anatomy and care while enjoying riding daily, picnics at the pond, stick horse rodeos, crafts and most important making MEMORIES! Each session will end with a horse show and a pizza party.

Summer Camp Sessions:

July 10 – 14 July 17 – 21 July 24 – 28 July 31 – August 4 August 7 – 11 August 14 – 18

Our week-long camp sessions go from 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday and cost $285 per child with a $100 deposit due upon registration; remainder to be paid upon arrival. Please note, if a week does not fill, we will do our best to place students in another week.

Need flexibility? Early drop off and late pick up available for a fee.

Meet our staff
Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
