Photos: St. Nick visits Crescent Park Carousel in Riverside

Posted

"His eyes how they twinkled, his dimples how merry. His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry. His droll little mouth was drawn up like bow and the

beard on his chin was a white as the snow," from Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Yes, the jolly elf himself came to the Crescent Park Carousel on Sunday afternoon to visit hundreds of good girls and boys. Baked goods and hot chocolate were on hand as a line of children with their moms and dads wrapped around circular gate enclosing the carousel. A joyful Santa sat in a sleigh where the children conducted their visits.
