Photos: Frigid cold spells ice skater's delight

Posted

Barrington—Students took advantage of a timely cold snap during exam week to head to the ice skating rink on Legion Way for a game of hockey on Thursday afternoon.  Frigid temperatures getting into the single-digits during the night have made a wonderful sheet of ice at the rink. But skaters beware, the ice may not be here to stay with temps due to reach the 40's early next week. So lace up your skates and hit the ice while it's here!
