BARRINGTON—James Murphy and Madison Emond were crowned Homecoming king and queen during halftime of the Eagles game against South Kingstown at Victory Field on Friday night. Barrington ran over South

Kingstown 20-3 in a fine defensive effort for the Eagles. Quarterback Matthew Rota threw a short pass from inside the 10 yard-line to tight-end Samuel Vetromile to give Barrington a 7-3 lead. After the half, junior running back Nicholas Jensen squirted through the line at mid-field and won the foot race down the sideline for an Eagles 14-3 lead. In the fourth quarter from just over mid-field, senior running back James Murphy took the ball from Rota on an end around and blew past all defenders for a touchdown.
